New Parking Stickers

            The LCOB has new parking stickers. During the week you may get a sticker from the church office. If you have an old sticker, please remove it. The new sticker goes on the inside of your windshield on the front passenger’s side. You will need to know the make of your vehicle and the license plate number in order to receive a new sticker.

Parking Meter Reminder from March 1 to October 31

This is a reminder that the parking meters and pay stations will be operating on Wrightsville Beach from March 1 through October 31.  The meters have to be fed from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., even on Sunday, and the cost is $1.50 per hour to park.   Holidays are not exempt...which means the parking meters and pay stations will operate on those dates as well.    

Please remember that there will be pay station parking on all of the streets on the east side (beach side) of Lumina.  There are parking meters on Lumina Avenue as well as on the west side of Lumina.              On weekends the meters on the east side of Lumina are covered to indicate you cannot park on that side of the street.  They cover the meters so that  emergency vehicles are able to respond to calls in a timely manner. 

BUT...Kerry Loomis, Manager of Wrightsville Beach Parking writes:

  “Ordinance 74.38 states:  Metered parking shall not be in  effect on the west side of  North Lumina Avenue in the area    bounded on the north by West Oxford and on the south by    West Fayetteville Street until 12:00 noon on Sunday.     Therefore, the Town of Wrightsville Beach has provided    additional parking for church goers in your (Little       Chapel) vicinity on Sunday.”
