Worship...

Worship services are held at the Little Chapel each Sunday morning.  We offer an informal service at 8:30 AM, followed by a time for fellowship and Sunday School for all ages, and a traditional worship service at 11:00 AM.  Nursery care is available during the services, and both services contain a children's message.  Communion is served regularly and at special times throughout the year.  Each Sunday service is recorded, and the audio tapes are available from the church office.

Current Month's Activities    

          Worship by the Sea Alternative Service

• All ages are welcome and the style is relaxed

• Our volunteer music team will set the tone for worship

• Reverend Todd Wright will lead the exploration of the Gospel...Mark 2 1-12

• The theme for our first gathering on April 30, 2008 will be Praise God!

• There will be a simple meal starting at 6 PM before worship at 7 PM

• Our next gathering will be May 28

                       The Use Of The Chancel For Non-Worship Activities

            At their regular September meeting, the Church Session gave the Worship Committee the responsibility to consult with any group or individual planning an event in the sanctuary that might include the use of the chancel area. The concern of the Session is in part for the chancel furniture: pulpit, lectern, communion table, piano, organ. The possibility of damage to these items increases each time the furniture has to be moved. In addition, there is a certain sanctity about this space that it is felt needs to be maintained as much as possible. While clearly there are times when the furniture must be moved, the Worship Committee will be encouraging uses of the sanctuary that may not require moving the furniture. Sometimes the use of other areas, such as the narthex or fellowship hall, may be utilized.

Nametag Reminder!

            In order to make it easier for Todd Wright and his wife Maureen, to get to know everyone, we ask that you please remember to wear your church nametag on Sunday mornings and at all church functions.  This will also help us to continue to get to know each other!

Copies of Todd’s and Mike's Sermons, Sunday announcements

                In response to members’ requests, copies of Todd’s sermons will be available on the shelf near the office. Please pardon any typos or ways in which the spoken and written words diverge – sometimes the Spirit moves!

 Cassette tapes of each of our worship services are available from the church office?

            Worship bulletins and sermons from the previous Sunday are mailed to members unable to attend worship on a regular basis?

            Sunday announcements and information about the upcoming Sunday services are e-mailed to members and friends wishing to receive them each Friday?

 Flowers              

Please contact the church office (256-2819) if you are interested in donating flowers for a Sunday in January. You may choose to fill either one or two vases. The cost is $30.00 per vase.
