Families
At Little Chapel, we welcome children of all ages and stages of life to join us in worship. We have children's bulletins for age 3+ and 7+ to go along with the Word of the day. Sunday school for Kindergarteners through 5th grade begins on September 7 from 9:15-10:15am each week, except for the 4th Sunday of each month when we have breakfast together at 9:30am.
Our 8:30am ARISE service is a shorter, more casual service in which wiggly children are welcome to roam around! This runs through April, then come to the Beach service in May at 8am Access #4 all summer!
Our 10:30am Traditional service has a children's moment welcoming young ones to the first pew for a story-time before the Scripture lessons.
If parents choose to utilize our nursery, we have professional childcare available at 8:30am (Sept-April) and 10:30am for infants through age 7.
Vacation Bible School is held in June, right when school gets out!
Scholarship Information
Are you a church member in undergraduate or graduate studies?
To apply for a scholarship, the applicant must be a member of LCOB or a child of a member as well as an active participant in church activities. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academics, church and school activities, and community involvement.
Printed applications are available in the bookcase opposite the church office, or you may click the button below to print and submit to the church office. The application deadline is April 30, 2026. No application will be processed after that date. Award notifications will be made on or before June 30, 2026.
New applicants must follow all the outlined requirements of the application.
Second, third, and fourth-year applicants are not required to obtain an additional letter of recommendation from the pastor if one was already submitted with their first-year application.
The completed application may be mailed to the church at the above address or be placed in the Office Administrator's mailbox opposite the church office. All completed applications must be received in the church office no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2026.
